When you visit Aerides Handmade Jewellery in Pylos, you’ll notice something right away: not everything in the shop is made by me. And I want you to know that from the start.
I spend my days at the bench crafting jewellery inspired by the ancient echoes of Nestor’s Pylos—pieces that carry fragments of history, shaped by hand in silver, gold, or brass. But the shop is also filled with jewellery I curate.
Some pieces are made by fellow Greek jewellers whose work I respect. Others I choose simply because I find them beautiful, honest, or because I know someone passing through Pylos will fall in love with them. Each has a place here for a reason.
For me, this balance is essential. I am not only an artisan but also a father, carrying forward my family’s shop in the heart of Messinia. To sustain it, I need to offer both my own work and a collection that makes the shop welcoming to everyone who walks through the door.
